On 12 August 2025, the Honourable Roger Cook, Premier of Western Australia, and the Honourable Jackie Jarvis MLC, Minister for Agriculture and Food, officially announced the 2026 WA Agricultural Show Grant Program.
This program recognises the cultural, social, and economic importance of agricultural shows to regional communities and commits $600,000 in funding to support eligible show societies across the state.
Funding will be administered by the Royal Agricultural Society of WA (RASWA), leveraging its affiliates program and long-standing support network for WA agricultural shows. The program has been designed to be simple to access, ensuring funds go directly to helping societies deliver and enhance their local shows.
Program Overview
- Grant amount: Up to $10,000 per eligible show society
- Funding period: 1 November 2025 – 30 June 2026
- Application process: Non-competitive and assessed on a rolling basis
- Payments: Successful applicants will receive funding upfront, to be used in full during 2026
- Program guidelines will be available here from 1 November 2025.

This initiative is a significant investment in the future of WA’s agricultural shows, helping preserve a long-standing tradition while fostering vibrant and engaging community events.
