The Terms and Conditions below relate to The 2026 Perth Royal Show, located at Claremont Showground and managed by the Royal Agricultural Society of Western Australia (RASWA). Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before confirming your purchase.
By making a purchase you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read these in conjunction with our Privacy Policy. Failure to read or non-compliance with these Terms & Conditions does not qualify the ticket holder for a refund. RASWA may vary these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any variations become effective on posting on this website. By making a purchase you agree to be bound by any variation.
The Event
The Royal Agricultural Society of Western Australia (RASWA) has implemented strict processes to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all attendees at the Perth Royal Show. The event hosts various activities amidst large animals, vehicles, crowds, temporary structures, occasional construction activities, and diverse environmental conditions. The event includes exhibitors and promoters showcasing a wide array of products and services including amusement devices, animal shows, sporting events, retail, social gatherings, theatrical performances, entertainment, and musical events.
Participants may engage in events involving some level of risk. Please proceed with caution, adhering to all signage and instructions provided throughout the grounds. It is essential to take special care to safeguard yourself and others from any potential loss or injury.
Please note that all event content advertised may change.
Conditions of entry to the Perth Royal Show are available upon entry.
General Terms and Conditions
These terms are bound and supported by our ticketing partner, Megatix, terms and conditions. For more information on the Megatix terms and condition's, visit the Megatix website.
- Parking: RASWA manages a limited allocation of car parking near the Showground
s, and this allocation can be purchased here. There are limited EFTPOS gate sales available, subject to availability. Bays are available on a first in best dressed basis and vary depending on patron movements. - Refunds: Unless required by Australian Consumer Law or stipulated otherwise in these Terms, refunds are NOT permitted.
- Date Changes: Date changes are permitted. For all existing bookings, changes can be made via Megatix - My Orders or at the gate. There are no limits on the number of times the date can be changed, and no additional fees apply.
- Missed Session: If you have missed your session, you can still exchange your date to a more suitable day, provided the ticket(s) have not been scanned.
- Ticket Issuance: Tickets are issued electronically. Patrons must have their digital ticket (device) ready for scanning at the gate. Alternatively, you can print your ticket and present the hard copy at the gate. For ease of access into the venue, we recommend saving your tickets to your phone's digital wallet prior to your visit.
- Ticket Validity: Damaged, defaced, or forged tickets, or photos of tickets, are invalid for entry. Tickets obtained through unauthorised sources are also invalid. If your ticket is damaged, a new ticket can be downloaded from your Megatix account, or you can speak to staff at the gate on the day for assistance.
- Program Changes: RASWA reserves the right to add, withdraw, or substitute artists and/or vary advertised programs, prices, seating arrangements, and audience capacity.
- Weather: The Perth Royal Show will proceed no matter the weather. In the event that a Show day is cancelled due to severe weather conditions, patrons will be able to exchange their day, or receive a refund.
Tickets
By purchasing a ticket through the Perth Royal Show or Megatix websites, you are acknowledging and agreeing to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as any other conditions specified by RASWA via the Perth Royal Show website.
Your Perth Royal Show ticket may be subject to additional terms, which will be notified to you prior to purchase. These Terms and Conditions will prevail to the extent that there is any inconsistency between additional terms and these Terms and Conditions. It is the responsibility of the ticket purchaser to check the latest Terms and Conditions prior to entering the Show or Showground.
General Overview
In 2026, the WA State Government is subsidising tickets by offering patrons an Early Bird access period. To access this discounted ticket offer, patrons need to register for Early Bird access on the Perth Royal Show website. Once registered, a code will be emailed to the registered email address which can be used to unlock the limited discount offer tickets once they are available.
Ticket Availability, Pricing, Discounts, and Purchases
- Tickets are only valid if purchased through RASWA via the Perth Royal Show website or its authorised agent, Megatix.
- Ticket prices are subject to change without notice.
- Sales and bookings may be subject to order limits and RASWA may cancel or refuse to accept orders that it believes to be in excess of any such limits.
- By purchasing a ticket to the Perth Royal Show, you agree that you have the authority to make payment for your ticket and that you own or have express permission from the owner of the credit card or other payment facility used to purchase the ticket(s).
- Tickets are not to be resold, used as prizes, corporate gifts, or for commercial gain without RASWA's written permission. Any tickets found to breach these terms will be made invalid for entry.
- All patrons need a ticket to enter, including children 3 and under who are free, which can be purchased online via perthroyalshow.com.au (limited gate sales available).
- Extra tickets can be added via My Orders.
- Staff can request proof of entitlement as required. This includes but is not limited to; concession cards, child ages, and companion cards
- Ticket prices are inclusive of fees, including but not limited to Booking Fee’s, Merchant Fees, and Gate Service Fees.

Early Bird Policy
- Tickets available in the discounted period are limited and subject to availability.
- Once exhausted, no additional inventory will be added to this offer.
- If you have purchased tickets at the discounted rate and wish to add more tickets, but the discount offer is exhausted, you will need to purchase tickets at the available ticket price at that time.
- Discounted tickets are only available to purchase online.
Ticket Type Policies
ADULT
- Each patron 16 and over must have a valid Adult ticket to gain entry to the Perth Royal Show, unless otherwise qualified.
- Gate staff will conduct random age checks and all patrons must be able to provide proof of ID upon request.
- After the initial purchase, patrons can add additional tickets under their My Orders page
CHILDREN AGED 4 – 15 YEARS
- All children aged 15 years and under must hold a valid Child ticket to gain entry to the Perth Royal Show.
- Kids aged 3 and under are eligible for free entry with a Kid’s ticket.
- Children aged 4 to 15 must hold a valid paid Child ticket
- Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied at all times by a parent or guardian who has a valid Adult or Concession ticket.
- A maximum of four (4) Child or Kid tickets can be obtained with every Adult or Concession ticket, up to a maximum of six (6) tickets per transaction.
- Gate staff will conduct random age checks and all patrons must be able to provide proof of ID upon request.
- RASWA reserves the right to deny admission to, or eject, patrons who have a Child Ticket but cannot prove that they are aged 15 and under.
CONCESSION
- Each Concession card holder must have a Valid; Commonwealth Pensioner Concession, Commonwealth Seniors Card, Veteran’s, or Student Card.
- A maximum of four (4) Child or Kids Tickets can be obtained with every Concession ticket transacted.
- Health Care Cards are not accepted.
- All concession tickets must provide a valid concession card upon entry.
AFTER DARK
- Valid for entry after 5:00pm and before 8:30pm on your selected date.
- Not valid for entry prior to 5.00pm.
- Patrons wishing to enter before 5.00pm on an After Dark ticket, will need to upgrade at the Box Office.
- After Dark tickets are only available for sale in the General Release. These aren’t available during the Early Bird period.
KIDS 3 & UNDER
- All patrons, regardless of age, require a ticket for entry. Whilst kids aged 3 and under are free to enter, patrons will need to redeem a zero-value kid’s ticket for them to enter at the time of purchase
- In the event that a Kid (aged 3 and under) arrives without a ticket, gate staff will do their best to accommodate the additional child, pending capacity limits. If the event is at capacity, the family may be refused entry.
- Gate staff will conduct random age checks for patrons entering on this ticket type.
- Patrons need to be aged 3 or under at the time of the event, not at the time of purchase.
COMPANION CARDS
- The companion card is a voluntary program that entitles a companion card holder to a complimentary ticket to the event for their carer to enter.
- Only one companion ticket can be redeemed per companion card holder as stated in the companion card terms and conditions. If you feel you need more than one, please contact RASWA for consideration.

- A companion card MUST be shown to gate staff upon entry, otherwise the ticket will not be valid.
Payment Methods
- Online
- Tickets must be purchased online using a credit or debit card (16 digits) including: VISA, Mastercard and AMEX.
- EFTPOS (savings) cards are not accepted online.
- Online transactions are inclusive of fees.
- External sites with pay-in-four options are not available. This includes but is not limited to, PayPal & Afterpay.
- At the Gate
- Gate sales are not guaranteed, and if available, will incur additional fees due to the cost of staffing and logistics, known as a Gate Service Fee. Additional fees apply for cash transactions to account for cash collection, storage and handling requirements.
- RASWA uses Stripe technology for gate transactions. Stripe readers in Australia cannot process EFTPOS cards without a chip or cards issued outside Australia. Therefore, savings cards without chips are not accepted at the gate.
- If available, payment may be made via 16-digit credit or debit card including: VISA, Mastercard and AMEX.
Experience Add-ons
- Parking - Add-on Policy
RASWA manages a limited allocation of car parking near the Showground. The allocation can be pre-purchased here and is limited to a single use on a selected day. There are two parking locations that you can pre-purchase, details below.
- Please note that parking in these areas is subject to availability at your arrival time.
- If there are no available bays, staff will redirect you accordingly.
- Trailers are not permitted to enter
- Your parking ticket is only valid for your selected date. You can change your date under Megatix - My Orders before arrival.
Swanbourne Primary Parking
- 3 Narla Rd, Swanbourne
- Free shuttle bus to the Showground every 15 minutes from 7:00am until 10:00pm.
- Please note - the free shuttle bus is not accessible for customers with mobility requirements
- Enter into the Show via Gate 1
- Open 7:00am–10:00pm (Gates locked at 10:00pm; vehicles can be collected from 7:00am next morning)
- Valid for one (1) entry only. No re-entry permitted
Ashton Triangle
- Corner Ashton & Judge Avenues, Claremont
- Walking distance to the Showground
- Enter into the Show via Gate 10
- Open 6:30am–10pm (Gates locked at 10pm; vehicles can be collected from 6:30am next morning)
- Valid for one (1) entry only. No re-entry permitted
- Parking in this area is for small to medium sized cars only
- Yellow Brick Road - Add-on Policy
- Yellow Brick Road bags must be collected before 4:00 pm to allow enough time to complete the trail, which closes at 5:00 pm.
- The collection point is located at the kiosk at AgVenture Hill (Amherst Av).
- Children aged 12 and under must be always supervised by a responsible adult during participation in Yellow Brick Road activities and at all times.
- Yellow Brick Road add-ons are available to use on your selected day at the Perth Royal Show 2026. If you have purchased the incorrect day, you can exchange the date on Megatix by visiting My Orders.
- Activity stations and giveaway items are subject to change without notice based on availability or operational requirements.
- There are 10,000 free Yellow Brick Road bags available for families to redeem. These have been allocated across all days, and can be added on when you purchase your tickets online and a limited number will also be available to redeem at the Gate on the day for walk ups.
- A maximum of 2 Yellow Brick Road bags may be purchased per family.
- Farmyard Nursery Photography - Add-on Policy
- Arrive at the Farmyard Nursery between 11:00am to 5:00pm on the day that your ticket is allocated. Photography sessions are unallocated, you will need to wait, or you can write your name on the schedule at the Farmyard Nursery and return later in the day.
- Lamb Feeding – Please note, this is subject to the lamb’s demand, and we cannot guarantee they will want a feed during your session.
- Participants will receive up to three (3) digital photographs from their session via email.
- A Farmyard Nursery Photography add-on includes access to the photography activation; add-on does not include general admission into the event.
- All participants must adhere to the directions of staff and follow any safety guidelines in place.
- Each photography session is limited to a maximum of six participants, unless otherwise approved at the photographer’s discretion.
- Everyone in attendance needs to follow the instructions of the photographer and / or animal handler on safe interactions with the animals at all times. This is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the attendees, staff, and animals. Any person who fails to follow the instruction they’re given, can be refused entry or removed from the experience.
- The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any participant behaving inappropriately or in breach of these
- terms.
- Refunds will not be issued due to dissatisfaction with photo quality, quantity, or style.
- By attending, you agree that photos taken during the activation may be used for promotional purposes by the Perth Royal Show unless you opt out in writing before your session.
- Merchandise - Add-on Policies
Le Moo Moo Blind Box
- Le Moo Moo’s are a blind box reveal toy with four known characters and one rare mystery character. You will not know which character you will receive until you open the box and internal bag.
- All sales are final.
- No refunds or exchanges due to change of mind or due to the character within the box.

General Conditions of Entry
Our Conditions of Entry are designed to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
Conditions of Entry are subject to the requirements of WA government directives, including but not limited to, public health and social measures and restrictions as and when they are introduced and/or updated.
Failure to adhere to these conditions of entry may result in the refusal of entry, and no refunds or exchanges will be issued.
- For the safety and comfort of attendees, a daily attendance cap of approximately 70,000 applies. RASWA reserves the right to limit entry if this cap is exceeded.
- RASWA reserves the right to deny admission to, or eject, individuals who:
- appear intoxicated, under the influence of illicit substances;
- engage in disorderly conduct or cause a disturbance;
- do not comply with directions or requests from staff;
- use vulgar or abusive language;
- throw objects within the Showground;
- indulge in behaviour that puts their own safety or the safety of others, including animals at risk;
- Attempt to bring in prohibited items that can be used to threaten or harm other members of the public (refer to list below)
- otherwise violate RASWA Terms and Conditions.
- Display of Nazi symbols including the display of Nazi symbols is prohibited in Western Australia and any person displaying Nazi symbols will be denied entry or ejected from the Showground
s. - Persons will be subject to a security check, which may include personal checks, wanding, searching of bags, other containers (regardless of size) and clothing.
- Persons must not attempt to conceal their identity at entry or while inside the Venue. RASWA will respect cultural differences and medical conditions.
- Wearing or displaying unauthorised commercial, political, or religious materials, or other offensive materials, is not permitted.
- Entry is permitted from 10:00am until last entry at 8:30pm. Entry outside of these times is at the discretion of RASWA staff.
- To protect the health and safety of patrons, RASWA reserves the right to cease admission into the Showground at any time.
- Entry to the event is at the patron’s own risk.
- Patrons must follow all signs, notices, directions, or requests by RASWA staff, volunteers, and representatives while at the event.
- Patrons gaining unauthorised access to the Showground and/or any specific areas may be liable for prosecution.
- Patrons must take proper care of all belongings. RASWA is not liable for any loss or damage to patronal property.
- Patrons are responsible for their own actions and indemnify RASWA against any loss or liability, cost, expense, or damages arising from or in relation to their acts or omissions.
- Patrons participating in unauthorised sales or hawking of goods and services will be ejected from the event.
- Smoking (including e-cigarettes, personal vaporisers, electronic nicotine delivery systems, or any other battery-powered vaporisers) is prohibited indoors and at all catering, public seating, or spectating areas, and is only permitted in designated areas.
- By entering the event, patrons are providing permission and consent to RASWA or third parties photographing, filming, or taping and using the material across all mediums, without permission or compensation. If your photo is used, and you wish for it to be removed, please contact us and we will take all reasonable steps to remove it.
- Entry to the event does not guarantee automatic access to all events and activities.
- All accidents or emergencies must be immediately reported to Security.
- Only approved assistance animals are permitted into the Event, outside of exhibitors.
- RASWA is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or death suffered by any patron or property while at the Showground.
- Ensure footwear is free of dirt and mud if travelled overseas within 7 days prior to entry.
- The event will have cloaking facilities, restrooms, first aid, food trucks, and refreshments for safety and convenience.
- Entry is limited to one person per entry ticket. Add on’s and parking tickets are not eligible for entry.
- Persons accompanied by minors are responsible for the care, acts or omissions and supervision of those minors at all times.
- If any patron is under the age of 18 years old (minor), a parent or legal guardian must agree to these Conditions on behalf of the minor and ensure the minor complies with these Conditions. This includes granting permission to RASWA to use the image, likeness, actions, and statements of the minor in any live or recorded audio, video, or photographic display related to the event, in any medium or context, without further authorisation or compensation.
- In the event that you seek assistance from the on-site St John Ambulance team, please note that your data will be collected by a RASWA representative to ensure we are aware of all incidents occurring on our grounds and are able to assist and follow up as required.
CCTV & FACIAL RECOGNITION
RASWA is committed to ensuring that personal information that is collected by our CCTV system is handled in line with the requirements of the Privacy Act 1988 and associated Australian Privacy Principles.
The CCTV system is used to provide a safe and secure work environment for our staff, visitors and members of the public that use and travel through the precinct throughout the event. This surveillance is used to deter any form of aggressive, harmful or unlawful behaviour, and to assist in identifying offenders. If an incident occurs, the recordings that we hold may be provided as evidence to law enforcement authorities such as the police, to assist with their investigations and enquiries.
The circumstances under which a third party may be shown CCTV footage include:
- Unlawful acts (police).
- Work Health and Safety complaints.
- When required by law (e.g. a court-order).
Copies of CCTV footage are retained for the duration of the show. No alterations are made to footage prior to disposal.
The Perth Royal Show will have Live Facial Recognition Technology (LFR) in operation by WA Police for this event. Note that this is on select days, not all days. LFR technology compares a live CCTV feed against a controlled alert-list to generate real-time notifications to police officers.
LFR is used in line with the WA Police Force Privacy Statement and Privacy Impact Statement, and key protections include:
- where no alert is generated, the system automatically pixelates faces on the operator screen
- biometric data that does not generate an alert is not stored by police; it is deleted immediately and automatically
- biometric data is deleted following each deployment
- details of any alerts are retained, where required for an investigation of an offence or complaint
- no data is shared with third parties

- All 18+ patrons must have a valid/current photo ID (a current Australian driver’s licence, current passport, or proof of age card) presented upon arrival to gain entry to the Licensed area.
- Intoxicated patrons will be refused entry or removed from the event.
- Juveniles are permitted to enter and remain on the licensed premises. Juveniles are not permitted
to approach within three (3) metres of any liquor server area. - It is an offence to sell or supply minors with alcohol.
- Alcoholic beverages cannot;
- Be taken into the Showground
- Removed from the Showground
- Purchased on behalf of a person under 18 years of age
- Supplying alcohol to minors is prohibited and will be reported to police. Penalties apply under the Liquor Act 2007.
RESTRICTED & PROHIBITED ITEMS
The following items are not permitted into Claremont Showground, and are subject to immediate confiscation and potentially police (WAPOL) intervention:
- Illegal substances, including illegal drugs
- Weapons, including but not limited to;
- Guns
- Knives, including Swiss Army Knives
- Swords, including the Kirpan
- Leatherman
- Flares, fireworks, explosives, smoke bombs/canisters, and other incendiary devices
- Chemical sprays, silly string, pepper sprays, stage door streamers or other similar spray projecting materials
- Glassware or breakable containers
- Laser pointers or any object that could be used to distract, hinder or interfere with the conduct of any event, animal or person involved in an event.
- Alcoholic Beverages
- Any toy or item that could be mistaken as a weapon or used as a weapon
- Remote control vehicles, including but not limited to drones (or any such aircraft)
- Metal flag poles, extendable flag poles, and poles capable of being used as a weapon
- Oversized banners and flags which may cause public nuisance
- Commercial, promotional, or other unauthorised marketing materials, including clothing for sale or other means of distribution
- Animals, other than certified service animals
- Folding chairs or stools, except in special circumstances.
- Cameras and/or recording devices for commercial purposes, including tripods, unless authorised by RASWA to take official footage for the Perth Royal Show.
- Whistles, hooters, horns, drums, or other musical instruments (unless purchased in a showbag or are part of entertainment)
- Scooters (including electronic scooters), roller skates, skateboards, segways, push bikes, or other unauthorised means of transportation. If any items are purchased within the Showground, these cannot be used.
- No insignia of identified organisations under the Criminal law (Unlawful Consorting and Prohibited Insignia Act 2021);
- Any illegal or offensive item, good, clothing, article, publication or material including those referencing alcohol, drug use, violence, profanity, hate speech or being of suggestive nature
- Other items as determined by RASWA management that may cause damage, alarm, injury, or public nuisance to any person or animal.
For avoidance of doubt, the following items are prohibited symbols: The Islamic State flag; The Nazi Hakenkreuz (Swastika); The Nazi double-sig rune; and/or something that is so similar to any of the aforementioned items that it is likely to be confused with it.
Failure to comply will result in confiscation and ejection from the event. Items confiscated at entry gates will not be stored and will be disposed of.
PHOTOGRAPHY
- Amateur Photography: Allowed, provided it does not cause annoyance, the subjects consent, and the photos are not sold for commercial gain.
- Professional Equipment: Not permitted without prior written approval/engagement from the RASWA marketing department at marketing@raswa.org.au. This includes photographic, video, or audio recording equipment for any purpose other than private non-commercial purposes, such as video and/or audio recorders, camera tripods, monopods, or lenses with a total focal length greater than 200mm, or any other commercial digital video equipment.
- Selling and Publishing: Patrons are not permitted to sell, license, or otherwise publish, disseminate, or reproduce any recordings taken inside the Showground
s. - Drones: Drones are strictly prohibited inside and surrounding the event.
PRAMS AND STROLLERS
- Prams, strollers, and carts are welcome at the Perth Royal Show, however there are walkthroughs and animal areas where these will need to be stored outside for safety.
- These may be stowed away from walkways and must not be left in aisles or areas impeding safe movement. Non-compliant prams may be left in designated bays.
- RASWA is not responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of patronal property left in these bays.
- They must not block emergency doors or vehicle access, and must give way to emergency vehicles when required.
2-FOR-1 RIDE PROMOTION
- During the Perth Royal Show, between 10:00am and 11:00am daily, patrons may take two rides for the price of one ride ticket on participating show rides.
- This offer is valid on all show rides at the Perth Royal Show, excluding the Slingshot.
- To redeem the offer, both riders must board the same participating ride at the same time.
- The offer is available only during the promotional period and cannot be redeemed outside the hours of 10:00am to 11:00am.
- Redemption is subject to ride availability, queue times, operational requirements, weather conditions, maintenance, and individual ride capacity. Joining a queue before 11:00am does not guarantee redemption if the ride operator cannot process the ticket during the promotional period.
- This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion, discount, or offer.
- RASWA reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw the offer at any time.
- All ride height, age, weight, health, safety, clothing, and operator requirements continue to apply. RASWA and ride operators may refuse participation where a patron does not meet ride requirements or where participation may present a safety risk.
OTHER
- Convicted Child Sex offenders are not permitted to work at, volunteer at, exhibit or to attend the Perth Royal Show.
- RASWA conducts Working With Children’s checks on all staff, volunteers and contractors prior to the show commencing.
CANCELLATION POLICY
In the unfortunate event of cancellation of a Show Day or the entire Perth Royal Show, RASWA is not obligated to arrange a substitute event.
In cases of cancellation due to intervening circumstances (defined as events beyond our control, such as acts of God, public health emergencies, travel warnings, and government directives), we strive to provide fair and flexible remedies to ticket holders:
- Partial Refund: we may offer either a full refund or a partial refund (e.g., minus transaction/handling/booking fees or delivery charges).
- Exchange: we may provide a Ticket, valued at or above the original Ticket's price, for a different Show Day.
- Credit Note/Voucher: we may issue a credit note/voucher equal to the price paid for the Ticket.
- Donation Request: In addition to the above remedies, we may inquire if you are willing to forgo your refund/remedy and instead donate the Ticket's purchase price to the Royal Agricultural Society of WA Foundation.
LAW AND JURISDICTION
The provisions of these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia.
