About the Perth Royal Show

A much-loved annual event celebrating agriculture, community and entertainment in the heart of Western Australia

A PROUD TRADITION SINCE 1834

The Perth Royal Show is Western Australia’s most iconic annual event, delivered by the Royal Agricultural Society of WA and bringing together agriculture, food, entertainment and community in one place.

Each year, Claremont Showground comes alive for eight days as hundreds of thousands of people step through the gates. From livestock competitions and woodchopping to rides, fireworks and award-winning WA produce, the Show is packed with moments that keep people coming back year after year.

What began as a small agricultural gathering has grown into a major event on the Western Australian calendar, but its purpose remains the same: connecting country and city and celebrating the people and industries behind it.

With the support of community and corporate partners, the Show continues to evolve while staying true to its roots, creating experiences that are shared across generations.
