Perth Royal Art Prize
A dedicated non-acquisitve landscape prize putting WA artists and the places that shape them on show.
Creativity takes centre stage at the Perth Royal Art Prize.
Each year, creatives from across Western Australia share their work as part of the Perth Royal Show’s long tradition of celebrating talent, skill and creativity. From emerging to established artists, the Perth Royal Art Prize brings together a vibrant collection of artworks reflecting the people, landscapes and stories of our state.
Update for 2026
The Perth Royal Art Prize for Landscape will not take place in 2026.
This pause forms part of a broader review of all Royal Agricultural Society of WA competitions, as we consider how each program can continue to remain relevant, sustainable, and aligned with our future direction, while still meeting the evolving expectations of both audiences and participants.
The Perth Royal Art Prize has a long and valued history, and we sincerely appreciate the ongoing support of artists, judges and our community.
