All media attending the Perth Royal Show to cover the event including photography, videography, or editorial, must hold valid accreditation. The individual named on the accreditation must be the individual using the accreditation.  This process is a key component of RASWA’s broader risk management and safety framework, ensuring that every individual present at the Show in an official capacity is recorded and accounted for.

All media access to the Main Arena, Woodchop Arena or other restricted areas must be requested through the Media Team. Entry into these arenas or other fenced zones without prior authorisation is strictly prohibited. We ask all media to be mindful of competition judging, animals, and exhibitors when filming, photographing, or conducting interviews. For everyone’s safety, please do not enter unauthorised areas or climb on activations, structures, or displays unless expressly approved by the Media Team.

If you lose something during the Show, contact the RASWA Office on (08) 6263 3100. Valuables are collected daily by WA Police. Non-valuable items are retained for up to eight weeks post-Show and if unclaimed, items may be donated to charity. 

The Perth Royal Show is easily accessible by public transport with Transperth providing dedicated train services and bus connections to the Claremont Showground. The Public Transport Authority (PTA) are offering free travel on Sunday 27 September with a valid SmartRider, and all-week Family Rider passes for $7 which are valid for up to seven patrons.
