Legend of the Show

The Legend of the Show is the highest honour bestowed by the Royal Agricultural Society of Western Australia, recognising individuals whose exceptional commitment and service have left a lasting mark on the Perth Royal Show.

From volunteers and competitors to commercial vendors, members and those working behind the scenes, the award celebrates people whose passion, influence and dedication have helped shape the Show and its almost 200-year legacy.

Each recipient is permanently recognised with a bronze plaque on the Legends Walk around the Bruce Campbell Main Arena at Claremont Showground, ensuring their contribution remains part of the Perth Royal Show story for generations to come.

Who will become the next Legend of the Show?

Do you know someone whose extraordinary contribution deserves to be recognised?

Nominations are invited from across the community for individuals who have demonstrated exceptional, long-term commitment to the Perth Royal Show.

Who can be nominated?

Nominees must:

1. have a minimum of 15 years’ involvement with the Perth Royal Show;
2. be a volunteer, exhibitor, commercial vendor, member or other significant contributor to the Show;
3. have demonstrated an exceptional and lasting contribution to the Perth Royal Show;
4. not be a current Royal Agricultural Society of WA Councillor or staff member.

How to nominate

Complete the online nomination form and provide detailed information about the nominee’s history with the Perth Royal Show and why you believe they should be recognised as a Legend of the Show.

Please keep your nomination confidential. Nominee should not be told that they have been nominated.
