Perth Royal Show competitions are judged by qualified experts in their fields. Our judges follow strict criteria to ensure fair and consistent evaluation of all entries. Many of our judges are nationally accredited and bring decades of experience.

Overall quality and craftsmanship of the entry.
Presentation
How well the entry is presented for judging.
Breed Standards
For livestock and pets, adherence to breed standards.
Technique
Skill and technique demonstrated in the work.
Originality
Creative interpretation where applicable.
Condition
Physical condition and finish of the entry.

Judging Times
Livestock Judging
Daily from 8:00 AM in the animal pavilions. Check the daily program for specific times.
Arts & Crafts Judging
Judging takes place before the Show opens. Results displayed in the Competition Pavilion.
