Sheep

The Sheep competition brings together breeders, producers and some seriously impressive animals for a packed week of judging, challenges and championship events.

The program begins with two days of Merino judging, culminating in the Supreme Champion judging and Merino and Wool Presentation on Sunday. Monday puts competitors to the test in the Merino Challenge, followed by the Young Sheep Producers Challenge on Tuesday.

From Wednesday, the focus turns to meat breeds, with two days of judging alongside the Young Handler Competition. The week wraps up with the All Breeds Stud Ram and Ewe Sale on Friday.

• Merino Judging: 9.30am–5pm

Sunday 27 September

• Merino Judging: 9.30am–5pm
• Supreme Champion Judging: approximately 4pm–4.30pm*
• Merino and Wool Presentation: 6pm–8pm

Monday 28 September

• Merino Challenge: 9am–12pm
• Merino Challenge Presentations: 12.30pm–1.30pm

Tuesday 29 September

• Young Sheep Producers Challenge: 10am–12pm
• Young Sheep Producers Challenge Presentations: 12.30pm–1.30pm

Wednesday 30 September

• Meat Breed Judging: 9.30am–4pm
• Young Handler Competition: 4.30pm–5.30pm

Thursday 1 October

• Meat Breed Judging: 9.30am–4pm
• Meat Breed Awards Presentation: 6.30pm–8.30pm

Friday 2 October

• All Breeds Stud Ram and Ewe Sale: 1pm–2pm
