Shearing Details
Head to the Sheep Shed to see one of agriculture’s essential skills up close. Watch experienced shearers at work during daily demonstrations, then see the pace pick up as competitors take to the boards for the Shearing Championships.
Saturday brings a full day of competition, starting with the heats before the top shearers battle it out in the Championship Finals. Stick around for the Teams Competition, followed by the Awards and Presentations to round out the day.
Shearing Demonstrations
- Sunday: 10am–5pm
- Monday–Thursday: 11am–11.15am
- Friday: 1pm–1.15pm
Saturday 1 October – Shearing Championships
- Shearing Heats: 8am–1pm
- Championship Finals: 1pm–3pm
- Teams Competition: 3pm–3.30pm
- Awards and Presentations: 5.30pm–7.30pm
