Things are about to get seriously loud at the Woodchop Arena! For the first time, the Perth Royal Show is firing up a Chainsaw Competition, bringing even more horsepower to one of the Show’s most action-packed arenas.

Watch competitors put their speed, precision and chainsaw skills to the test as they race against the clock to cut through timber in the fastest time. Expect roaring engines, flying sawdust and plenty of noise as competitors go head-to-head in this high-powered new addition to the Woodchop Competition. You’ll hear this one before you see it!

Woodchopping at the Perth Royal Show features a range of disciplines designed to test competitors’ speed, strength, accuracy and axe or saw skills. Axe Throwing shifts the focus from speed to precision, challenging competitors to accurately throw an axe at a target.
