Cattle Details
There’s plenty happening in the Cattle Arena, with breeders, students and their animals competing across five days of judging and competition.
See the next generation put their skills to the test in the Student Competitions, watch different breeds go head-to-head and follow the action as the best animals progress to the Interbreed competitions.
You don’t need to be a cattle expert to get into it. Come along, pick your favourite and see if the judges agree.
Saturday 26 September
- Student Competitions: 11am–4.30pm
- Speciality Breed Judging: 4.30pm–6pm
Sunday 27 September
- On the Hoof – Led Steer and Heifer: 10am–1pm
- Beef Cattle Judging: 1.30pm–6pm
Monday 28 September
- Led Steer and Heifer Competition Auction: 10am–12pm
- Beef Cattle Judging: 1pm–6pm
Tuesday 29 September
- Speciality Breed Judging: 10am–12.30pm
- Beef Interbreed Competition: 2pm–5pm
Wednesday 30 September
- Interbreed Speciality Breeds: 10am–12.30pm
- Interbreed Calf Competition: 1pm–2pm
- Breeders Pairs: 2.30pm–3.30pm
