Meet some of the state's finest alpacas as they compete for championship honours, then cheer on young competitors as they showcase their handling skills and judging knowledge in the Junior Judging and Handler Competition.

Alpacas and Alpaca Fleece Details
The alpaca program brings together animals, handlers and fleeces for several days of competition at the Farmyard Nursery.
Saturday begins with Fleece Judging before the alpacas take centre stage on Sunday for Handler Classes and Supreme Champion judging across both Suri and Huacaya sections. The day finishes with the Awards and Presentation.
On Monday, the next generation gets their chance to shine in the Junior Judging and Handler Competition.
Saturday 26 September
- Alpaca Fleece Judging: 8.30am–3.30pm
Sunday 27 September
- Handler Classes: 9am–5pm
- Suri Supreme Champion Judging: approximately 11am–11.30am*
- Huacaya Supreme Champion Judging: approximately 3pm–3.30pm*
- Awards and Presentation: 6.30pm–8.30pm
Monday 28 September
- Junior Judging and Handler Competition: 9am–12pm

*Supreme Champion judging times will be confirmed once entries close.
