WA’s LEADING WOODCHOPPING COMPETITION
The Woodchopping Competition at the Perth Royal Show is one of the biggest in Western Australia, drawing top competitors and a crowd that packs in to watch.
What started in the timber industry has become one of the Show’s most recognisable arenas. It’s fast, loud and all about precision, strength and timing.
Across the Show, competitors take on underhand, standing block, sawing and more, with classes running from junior through to world championship level.
LOOKING TO ENTER?
Entries are open to competitors across a wide range of classes, from novice and junior events through to state, national and world championship levels.
Step into the arena across underhand, standing block, tree felling and sawing events. Classes run throughout the Show under Australian Axemen’s Association rules.
