The National Photographic Competition is one of the most recognised photography competitions in WA, drawing entries from across the country. It’s not just about a good shot — it’s about timing, composition, and knowing when to press the shutter.
You’ll enter digitally first, with selected works progressing to final judging as mounted prints. From there, accepted entries are exhibited during the Perth Royal Show, where thousands of people pass through the Photography Pavilion — and vote for their favourite in the People’s Choice Award.
