Entries are judged on the qualities that make a great egg, with judges looking closely at freshness, uniformity, shell quality and overall presentation. It’s a celebration of good husbandry, careful production and the work that goes into producing a quality product from hen house to judging table.
The competition is a great opportunity for poultry keepers and producers to compare their eggs, put their knowledge to the test and be recognised for a cracking result.
