From polished pedigrees to well-loved companion cats, this competition brings together some of Western Australia’s finest felines.The Cats Competition is a recognised event within WA’s feline community, attracting experienced exhibitors, respected breeders and new entrants each year.

Cats are judged on type, temperament and presentation, reflecting the care and attention behind every entry. It’s a long-standing part of the Show — and a serious platform for breeders, owners and enthusiasts alike.

Across a full program of classes, it showcases breed standards, strong bloodlines and the quality of care behind each cat presented in the ring.

The Cats Competition is open to registered exhibitors, with classes covering pedigree and companion cats.

Entries include:

• All Breeds Championship Show — entire and desexed adults, kittens, side classes and finals for Supreme Exhibit
• Golden Oldies — for senior and veteran cats
• Breed Lines — recognising consistency across breeding programs
• Sire or Dam of Excellence — for cats with outstanding progeny
• Companion Cats — non-pedigree pets judged on condition, temperament and presentation

All cats must meet the requirements outlined in the official schedule, including registration and health standards where applicable.
