With halter classes, fleece sections, and dedicated spots for young judges and junior handlers, there is a place for every breeder to shine. Swap stories with the WA alpaca community, pick up some new tips, and show off the results of a long season’s work! 

Halter Classes 

Precision, presence, and poise: that’s what the judges are looking for here. From the dense, crimpy Huacayas to the lustrous, flowing Suris, it’s your chance to put your best animals in front of the judges and let their quality speak for itself. 

Alpaca Fleece 

We’re getting technical with the clip. Our judges are hunting for the softest, most consistent, and commercially valuable fleeces in the state. If your fibre is a cut above the rest, this is your moment to prove it. 

Young Handlers and Judges 

These sections are all about the next generation. Learn to assess a fleece like a pro or show off your skills leading an alpaca through the ring. It’s a brilliant way for students and young enthusiasts to build confidence and get involved.
