Agricultural Colleges

A hands-on, two-part competition where high school teams put their skills, knowledge and teamwork to the test

Think your school has what it takes to bring home first place?

This is your chance to get off the sidelines and into the thick of it. We’re inviting high school students who want to build their confidence, get some real-world experience, and show WA the hard work that goes into life on the land. It’s hands-on, it’s rewarding, and it’s the perfect way to represent your school in this two-part competition.

Farm Skills

Before the Show officially kicks off, schools go head-to-head in a massive paddock showdown. We’re talking shearing, building fences, and getting behind the wheel of a tractor. There's even a bit of welding, ram selection, and chemical safety thrown in to see who really knows their way around a working farm.

In-show Competition

Here, it’s all about bringing your best at the Perth Royal Show. Every event earns points for your school, with trophies and some serious bragging rights waiting for the top teams at the end.
