EVOLVING WITH WESTERN AUSTRALIA

Heritage And History

From its founding in 1831 to today, the Society has played a continuous role in advancing agriculture and community life in Western Australia.

AN ORGANISATION WITH A RICH HISTORY

NEARLY 200 YEARS OF SUPPORTING AGRICULTURE

Established in 1831, the Royal Agricultural Society of Western Australia has grown alongside the State’s agricultural industries. Originally formed to promote and advance agriculture in the colony, the Society has evolved into an organisation that supports, celebrates and connects agriculture across Western Australia.

Today, the Society continues to play a key role in recognising excellence, preserving important traditions, and sharing the stories that shape the industry.
