Education and Community
Building a stronger future for agriculture by supporting communities, connections and the next generation.
EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY
The world is facing a significant challenge. It is estimated that global food production will need to increase by 50% over the next 30 years to feed a growing population. Meeting this challenge will require innovation, collaboration and education across consumers, producers and the entire agricultural supply chain.
Closer to home, WA faces its own set of challenges. There is a growing disconnect between city and country, with many people unsure where their food and fibre comes from. Regional communities are shrinking, producers are seeking skilled workers, and pathways into agriculture are not always visible or accessible to young people.
We play a vital role in helping address these issues by supporting, strengthening and showcasing WA's agriculture and food production industries, ensuring they remain resilient, skilled, and future-focused.
Through our Education and Community programs, we inspire the next generation, strengthen regional connections and support the future sustainability of agriculture across our State.
