About Claremont Showground
Claremont Showground has been bringing Western Australians together for more than a century.
The site has been home to the Perth Royal Show since 1905, becoming one of the state’s most recognised gathering places for agriculture, entertainment and community celebration.
Over the decades the Showground has evolved from agricultural showgrounds into a major event precinct. Today the site includes heritage pavilions, exhibition spaces and large outdoor areas, supporting everything from festivals and exhibitions to concerts, markets and community events.
Throughout the year the grounds host a diverse calendar of events while also providing a home for community groups, organisations and creative activity.
More than just an event venue, Claremont Showground remains a place where the community comes together — continuing a tradition that has shaped Western Australia for generations.
